1950 год, somewhere in the Middle East. An extravagant magnate, Ja-Ja Korda, is experiencing a series of assassination attempts and initiates a grand transcontinental venture known as the "Phoenician Scheme." In a bid to safeguard his empire, Korda declares his daughter, Lisle, as the sole heir, retrieving her from a convent. They are about to confront numerous adversaries, engage in state intrigues, and battle for the future of their family, their business, and all of Phoenicia.
